It was when I was 16 back in 1978, the Alice Cooper, 'Go to Hell/Billon Dollar Babys' tour, at the old Wings Stadium in Kalmazoo MI..You talk about combinding theatrics and rock 'n' roll my mouth was dropped down to the floor most of the concert.
Hahaha, I'm not called Dinosaur for nothing. My first concert was in 1976. It was an America concert. I sat near the front, great seats, but I barely even remember the concert. I do remember my date for it though. hahaha
My first concert was Reba McIntyre at a county fair. I have seen a wide array of artists over the years though including KISS, AC/DC, John Mayer, Lady Gaga, Madonna, and REO Speedwagon. I will go see anybody that sounds decent because I love the feel and environment of live music.
As another dinosaur, Mountain at the Auditorium in Chicago. Before that, sneaking onto the lawn of a mansion of a big time publisher who had the JH Experience playing.

First concert was Point Blank/REO Speedwagon in 1978 (Salina, KS). Best concert was Pink Floyd indoors in Dallas, TX (1988). They used surround sound that produced an unbelievable effect! Saw them again outdoors and it merely OK.

I didn't go to my first concert until I was 23. My parents were very religious. I saw a few unsigned local bands but my first was HIM. My sweet BF at the time heard they were coming to town and returned the sweatshirt he just bought to buy tickets for us. I didn't know this at the time until I happened to ask him "why don't you wear that new sweatshirt?" It was the sweetest thing anybody has ever done. I fell in love with him that night, They were amazing by the way.
My first and only concert that I ever saw was for Rascal Flatts. I think the opening act was Jason Aldean. Oh, and if the Grand Ole Opry counts as a concert...then I have been to 2.
