Is Alpine the best car stereo maker in the world? I'm curious because I have heard a lot of people a few years back preferring Alpine stereos for their cars. They have also managed to be a visible brand in the industry. Does their stereos warrant the reputation that they are enjoying? Or are their better manufacturers you can recommend?
I'm also asking for future reference on what stereo to put on my car.
I've always run Alpine in my vehicles, but I have a friend who loves Pioneer and used to do quite well in competition. I'd say most of the name brands are pretty good. Look for features you like.
