If someone has a room with bad acoustics, do you ever say so? I was at my inlaws's house yesterday and their living room is all hard surfaces. The TV was blaring but still hard to understand with all the reverb.

If they seem happy with it, or especially proud of their "setup," I don't burst their bubble. Otherwise, I might make some friendly suggestions on how to improve the acoustics.
