If your pop filter breaks, do you buy a new one or just throw some pantyhose on it? Does it make a difference in audio quality?

Pantyhose does just fine. It's just there to slow the air pressure and not the sound pressure level.

That's what I thought. It's a cheaper solution too and with the cost of good audio equipment, saving money without sacrificing quality is a wonderful thing.
