I had a favorite album when I was a kid: Harry Nilsson's THE POINT. A mix of spoken story and songs, with it's own little comic book inside the album cover, it was a unique record that bridged a few generations with it's 'oddness'.

'Anyone else have a memory/favorite like that?

Yeah, my old roommate had that album. It was cool to listen to because it was like a movie and it was mellow instead of like an album. It was short too. Like a 30 min. album.
