Please don't be insulted by my laughter. It isn't your fault that Panasonic chose to advertise their system as being capable of 7600 watts. But it is really funny to me.
The earlier debate in this thread was about quality. As a new home theater in a box system being launched soon is 5 times as expensive but with 3D features, it is worth it?
I have heard of this idea - is it really better to buy the entire set of things you need in one box? I am not really aware of individual good and bad points of each thing included.

I would definitely go for a Home Theatre in a Box since no one at home can assemble one from scratch. I've seen many a good one when I was in Bangkok and I would just add a projector for viewing movies/dvds in a bigger screen.
