As for the electrolytics, I usually just replace the whole can. Most times, in old tube radios, the electrolytics are pretty small by today's standards. A lot of them are 10uF or 20uF, which I replace with poly caps. They are available with pretty high voltage limits, so they are suitable for tube amps. I have had a few radios with dual and even triple caps in one can, which I replace with separate individual poly caps.
