Oh gosh! I remember dancing around the room to my dad's 8 track player. I remember we had one in the car as well. Boy have we come a long way.

I was just laughing about these the other day. We didn't even get an 8 track until they were almost obsolete. They stopped making the tapes shortly after we got the player. Styx, Moody Blues and Toto..our 8 track collection.

Thanks for the recommendation Wayne. I have a couple of 8 track players that I've had forever and it's good to have a resource I can go to. I remember when I got my first stand alone unit. The car my parents had didn't have a player and I would take this huge "portable" 8 track player and put it in the back floor board of the car and cruise. Good times!
