Hello Wayne,
May I have a set of plans for the 4Pi, please? Just musing out loud, would using a semi cylinder for the cabinet require x-over changes?
Thank you,
Geary

I've sent the plans.

As for mods, some are safe but many are not. If you don't have measurement equipment, you're kind of in uncharted waters.

Like I've said before, one of the things you get when you build these one of these kits is confidence in a proven design, one that has hundreds of hours of R&D associated with it. You know what you're going to get, good performance on-axis and off-axis.

You're leveraging this R&D effort when building exactly what's in the plans. When you make changes, you may be able to enjoy the same level of performance, but maybe not. You're kind of on your own. So my advice is usually to stick with the plans unless the mods are very minor.

Hi Wayne,
Thanks so much for the plans. In the 4pi kit when you upgrade to the B&C driver does that include the B&C 90x40 matching horn?

Thanks,
Geary

The horn remains the same no matter what compression driver is used.
