Hello All,
The LAB 12 woofers came from the factory with laminated paper gaskets glued to the underside of the mounting surround. Should this be removed and the woofer be mounted directly to the cabinet or left in place as a spacer? Does it make any difference? Thanks.

Those gaskets sometimes matter when horn loading, but not when used as a direct radiator. It's usually a clearance issue. In all my designs, I leave the attached gaskets in place, but I don't use the extra one packaged with the driver.
