Wayne,

I'm feeling pretty good so far. I have a few weeks for my vocal chords to fully heal up. They wanted me to not speak for 2 weeks, but I'm sure you remember I'm not a quiet guy!!! LOL!!!

BTW I've got the parts for a all 16 ohm 4 Pi crossover since I have 2226J's and when I replaced the diaphrams in my Altec 291's I ordered 16 ohm from Great Plains to run my 500hz Edgar round tractix horns. I know that you don't recommend those horns for the 4-pi system, but I have had great success using them!

Steve Brown has built me a really neat 6V6 push-pull tube amp according to some requirements I gave him. Maybe he will chime in with pics and brief description of the amp. It uses the output trannys from a Dynaco SCA-35 amp whish is designed for ultra-linear operation. The original amp used 6BQ5/EL84's, but I persuaded Steve to do the 6V6 with octal tube (6SN7) 1st stage and phase splitter.

He's shipping it out to me next week!

Regards, Ron
