Hooked up the ART 311 tonight and having a blast. Tiniest changes are instantly audible. Cut-off freq, output, attenuation; think of a scenario and then instant gratification. It's as quiet as though it was passive and the bass has the Classe amp and the treble the 45 with each doing what it does best; a very right sound so far. Gotta put some hours on it and the cables. Question? Does the ART care that the 2226 is 16 ohm?

Bill, The ART only controls the input to the power amps and the speakers impedance to the amp does not affect the electronic crossover any. Hope this answers your question! Regards, Ron

Hey Bill, you should do a review of the crossover, I'd be very interested in your opinion of sonic signature of the device. I assume there is an improvement from not having a speaker crossover, but does the ART degrade the sound any? By the way, can you adjust phase with it?
