Illuminati (2nd Degree)
You mean that the Swartzenegger as Mr Freeze and Uma Thurman cat calls
have been replaced with some serious Caped Crusader adventured
that don't make one cringe?

That's good news.

I enjoyed the first one and even second (I think) but the cutesy
attempt to mimic the old tv serie in subsequent films embarrassed me even for the few lines I heard in the vid store.

Apparently the Batman franchise cannot be harmed by a few
really bad pics. The cartoon as film continues to live long and
prosper.

It is said (and I rewad this after I saw the film) that The Punisher
is one cartoon to film movie that retains the feel of the original
and uses virtually no special effects-- it's all story. It's a rough show but then again so is the modern genre of comic book anti-heroes.
