Pipedreams had a rebroadcast of one of their shows on last
night from the public radio here.
I use the show regularly to listen to the speakers I'm toying
with.
But this particular show is, well it's _cool._
It's a selection of pop tunes played on theater organs, the most
famous of which (I guess) is The Mighty Wurlitzer. We thinm of
organ music often as weird, creepy, for funerals and of course
as a wedding march.
The pure pleasure in this is being transported for instance
to a pizza restaurant in Texas (or Arizona) where the organ is
featured as entertainment.
Nowhere but on Pipedreams can you find this stuff.
It's just about perfect for listening on a summer afternoon like
this.
