If the Syrians are taking in the 400k refugees from Lebanon shouldn't they have the right to sue Israel in the international courts of justice for reparations of the huge cost to them for providing for all these people?
No. No way. The same answer on the question - does Lebanon have any rights to sue Israel for the material damages and human losses - no, no way. It`s a Israel, you know...sad, but true.
Yeah well I would be sueing the pants off them; why should Syria shoulder that burden? It's insane. If Canada was invaded by Russia we shouldn't have to harbor half a million Canadiens on our dime right? Another thing; why is it that the civilians suffer the most whenever totalitarian governments decide to invade peoples homes. Look at Iraq; over a million innocent people dead from our weapons; now exactly how is that fair or right?

Funny; this hatred for the U.N. by right wingers. We don't need them; lets just withdraw from the U.N. entirely and try and go it all by our lonesome. It doesn't seem to hhave worked for any other totalitarian governments and it doesn't seem to be working too good for us; but what the heck...we can all go out in a blaze of glory. Just light up all those nukes; come on;; you know you want to. Why even try to get along with the world.
Yeah, after some recent experiences (from Srebrenica to Beirut), we can ask ourselves - do we really need UN, or is this UN really exists? Maybe those who bombed unarmed UN observers and killed four of them, and their political protectors know the answers?
