Thats a fact. I am not a huge Dead fan but I like the band. My point was that they grabbed us like they did with those two tapes. I can remmember every point in every song where the track changes. Ka-Chunk! I don't know if you remember 8-Tracks.
But I can see how some worship the band the way they do.
There must be some new rock out there that is decent; where is it?
We need more current recommendations. I see a lot of repeat offenders mentioned. That is what killed audio in the early nineties, no decent tunes, just the same old audiophile compost. Anyone remmember Amanda McBroom? Or Jennifer Warnes; Famous Blue Raincoat? Boy they had staying power hah?
Grown men sitting in silence listening to that crap.
Pathetic.
