So far the Bush has addressed one aspect of the Health Care industry in his promotion of the Republican Medicare Drug Plan. It was enacted primarily to help the drug companies stem the tide of purchases going to Canada and other countries where the drug industry has less lobbyest's turning the wheels of government.
The plan is also a tracking program to put all reciepients into a data bank that wilol help the government control the health care of many American citizens. Well; we know the plan as enacted is a total failure and only serves the drug industry. Is this what he meant by addressing health care in his State of The Union Speech? To help industry reap more profits on human misery and illness?
We need responsible leaders that have compassion for the people; not toadies for the drug industry.
