Ariel Sharon will be doing a lot of resting if he survives this latest stroke. We can hope for him. What do you think his not being in the political spot lite will be like in the middle east?

He was a hardliner who finally decided that it wasn't working. He's the one who in the mid 90's told security forces to "break their bones". Sharon was making progress, as his old school rep preceded him and gave him credibility. Did you see what Pat Robertson said! Essentially that the stroke was punishment from God for giving land back.

Pat Robertson is a moron.
He gave land back as a offering to the west to show he was serious about creating peace in the region.
