Considoring it is a German Holiday created in the not too distant past why is it so important that we need to fight over what amounts to a kids day of joy and peace?

Not exactly understood what you mean, but if you thought about today`s commercial shoping/"gifting" "public" Christmas, stripped of its religious and family/childrens meaning - then yes, it can be just another sad "hedonistic" show...

As I can see it, mixed bag. From "shopping holiday" sheme to the strong faith. But, I can see deep sadness and disappointment also (reflection of all that war/politics/criminal/bad economic circumstances lately)...

Your little girl must be excited though; all the lights and Santa and presents?

I knew you would find a way to get Santa to come to your stocking first.
Unbelievable; you better come up with the goods on Christmas Eve or I'm telling her to bag your sorry butt. I don't know how she puts up with you.
Grid Chokes; you're a real romantic.
So; are they nice?
