Jeez.

This reminded me of something though. There was a character
introduced on Kojack (I think) played by Roosevelt Greer
whose name was Salathiel Harms. Harms was a modern bounty hunter.
The character was written well and Greer was good in it. But
nothing ever came of it.

Quite frankly I don't think anyone else today could do the part.
But that is because they are not bringing up the black actors
to do these things.

I have to admit that Ice Cube has grown into parts like the Barbershop
films. But not many others come to mind... maybe one of the
actors from _Kansas City_. That film had a bunch of great black
character actors of the right size and style.

I may not have the spelling right but Harms does explain his first name in one of those appearances. Salathiel was the Angel of Somethingorother-- anybody know?
