Bach is an excellent place to start. As I've said at some point (I think), focus on what you do like; don't worry about what you don't like. For example, if you like the Brandenburgs but not the Inventions, that's great. Then come back here, and I, and no doubt others, can suggest works that are similar. The trick is finding that first piece.
