I hope that this serie is not too boring
Anyway, similar thing - old ruined castle in the woods, about 1,5h walk up the hill (huh) from the village where we left our car. But, this time the tower is in the deep bush and trees, and I just didn`t find "right" angle for shooting. It has one round tower (maybe 10m in height, 3m thick wall), and another, unsymmetricaly shaped on another side. It has various walls inside, but everything is caved in and overgrown by trees and underwood.
There are no hystorical data other then mentioning in year 1400.

My gues is that this tower was build in various phases, various stones and ways of building. But, only archeological examination can says for sure. There are maybe 2-3 meters of stones and soil inside over the "real" level of rooms and a yard. A few more years and probably nothing would left to examine.
And, BTW - about XIV century, maybe earlier - who knows.

One wall is made from some red-colored stone... Bad light, this time.
