when asked how much theyd spend on their gear,
they said

1000$ on pre amps
10,000$ on speakers
1,000 on interconnects..

4,000$ atleast on cd players

i said : whats wrong with a well designed pre amp kit of 30$ value
my 1600$ horn system will sound good,(jbl2370+DIY midrange horn + 12" pro midbass)
1$ interconnects
mains cable as speaker wire
and whats wrong with my discman!
at diyaudio.com,theres a 100page thread on 'diy interconnects' they had it even drawn in autocad. i mean ,whats wrong with speakons! xlr!
