Hi all! i just saw this lunatic movie on TV lastnite- it had me thinking all night trying to figure out the plot! Unfortunately i missed the first 10minutes so miss the point of the blue box/key thing.

I reccomend it to all who enjoy thinking a little!

"The scary cowboy! The mysterious box! All that sex! We answer all your questions about David Lynch's latest outrage -- the weirdest movie of the year...Oct. 23, 2001 | "Mulholland Drive," the latest feature from director David Lynch, is exhilarating -- two hours and 25 minutes of macabre thrills, highly charged erotica and indelible images. But it's also confusing. Bits and pieces of plot dribble out; characters appear and disappear; the film takes an incomprehensible turn two-thirds of the way through; and there seem to be three or four disparate story lines that have virtually nothing to do with one another. ''

Hi Mike,

I never saw that one so I'll have to check it out. Thanks for pointing it out.

we dont get many good movies here on TV-ever since the broadcasting fee of $100 per yr was gone, its just gone downhill!!!

I only watch 2 shows a week!

btw - You how have britain have those 'warehouse parties'? and how its all 'underground'? well it really is!

Did you know that a group of 10people assembling at one point, with 'repetitive beats' is illegal in britain? The clubs are so aweful, expensive, that they go out in the open air and rave!
Gota take your own ~25kva generator though!

No wonder their soundsystems look so crappy-they keep getting them taken by the police :P

I'm laughing about the "nanny state" comment. But I can't laugh too loud 'cause we're in kinda the same situation in some ways. My state is probably less controlling than some places, but everywhere I see clamps on freedoms. Can't smoke in public, better watch your comments too. Tell a politically sensitive girl she's wearing a beautiful blouse and you might have to defend yourself for harassment. Take a religous item to school and you could get sent home, even suspended. Say a culteral or ethnic joke and you might be seen as prejudiced, maybe even taken to court.

Oh, shit. I made a point of not making any political comments on this website. I just blew it. Now that I've laughed at the "nanny state" comment, I just might get busted for it.

Here, smoking is being banned in all clubs and pubs in the next month!

Sure its nice to not have smoke around killing you,but when your government forces things like this its ridiculous.Soon sugar, sweets and suchlike will be banned ;-P

Our liberalist party does this sort of thing more than the conservative right...

I notice that alot of new legislation that seems good and increases peoples rights etc, actualy does the opposite. Its like theres something behind all these ideas and legislations coming from somewhere, which is a negative force.

its crazy isnt it,because theres no need for all the fuss!

I agree completely.

Back to the movie, after I wrote my first reply to you I went and checked out the movie some more. Then I realized that I had seen it and just forgot the name. I sure didn't forget the brunette chick though (Laura Harring). Rebekah Del Rio's spanish version of Roy Orbison's "Crying" is wonderful too, takes your breath away.

Naomi Watts isn't bad, either! David Lynch is great - any of you guys liked his TV-series "Twin Peaks"? Has a good soundtrack, too.

Wayne, stop being political! I'm already on a message board dominated by right winged socalled Christians... Pretty windy there for a lefty like me

Yeah - I do participate in debates in relevant places, but I think one should keep the (political) discussions there
