Well; it's in the news, the first joint Chinese-Russian military excersizes are a resounding success. We had a chance to work with the Russians but our big bankers decided that unethical banking practices that punished the Russian Government but lined their pockets were more important.

That's a complicated situation. America's relationship with Russia seems to be good one day and less so the next. I think that's because there are still a lot of things in flux over there. There may be some issues with Putin too. He's a hot button for most Russians, a controversial figure in his own homeland. So I think that may have something to do with it here too.Relations with the Ukraine are great. They've realy groomed themselves to be pro-West and European, and America has done a lot to embrace them. I think it's that way with other ex-Soviet states as well. China is a whole other matter.
