I've never built speakers before or do I know anything about it, but I was wondering this: Could I use the Two Pi kit and copy the dimensions of the Zu Audio Druids cabinet (50" x 11" x 6.3")? The drivers are pretty much the same size. I'm guessing that it is probably a much more complex process than just copying the dimensions?
Would this work?

The cabinet and the woofer form a tuned system, so each is tied to the other. If you don't deviate too much, everything is fine but go too far and you can really lose performance. Likewise, the crossover is designed with specific drivers and their positions in mind.

My suggestion is not to deviate from the plans. Either go with one of the π speaker designs or one of the Zu's, but don't mix and match.
