I have a couple of carvin ps-10 drivers left over from a horn loaded subwoofer project> I was wondering if anyone had any experiance with these drivers either as an alternate for a pi 2 type design( with appropriate box volume and port changes ) or as a conical horn loaded midrange. The specs are very similar to the Eminence beta 10a rather than the alpha series. My application is for a stereo home theater setup. Any suggestions? Wayne?

You can model it in Hornresp to know how it will act down low. If you use it in a midhorn, you really need to measure it to see how it acts at higher frequencies, as the cone begins to flex.
