I recently received a copy of the four Pi speakers in an E-mail from Wayne. Everything seems to explain itself except that I cannot quite figure out the port. The dimensions clearly show 3 1/2" W X 6" in height. But, what about the length, front to back? What type of material should this be constructed from? Would it be MDF? What thickness should the material be?

This is only my second speaker project, so go easy on me -- I'm pretty good with woodworking, but not so good at reading blueprints. Thanks!
Keith

Port length is 10", entry to exit. That dimension is shown on the baffle cutout drawing. Use the same material that you made the cabinet from. Thickness isn't really important, just make sure the inside dimensions are 3-1/2" x 6" and the total length from the front baffle edge where the port exits to the end inside the box is 10" long.
