It's been a while, but we have most of the big pieces done on the house and I can get to updating the speakers. The place was built in '89 and in several rooms they put in some cheap 8" speaker pairs in the ceiling. Wired with zip cord, firmly twisted about the speaker terminals. The ceiling speakers I've listened to just don't sound anywhere near as nice as my 2pi towers, so I'm thinking of building 2pi bookshelf enclosures and placing them in the attic so the baffle is flush with the ceiling. The holes are about big enough already. The thing is, I already have 4 Eminence 10" Alphas sitting around so I'd like to look at the 2pi bookshelf plans and ask if the Vifa upgrades are still available. If you have a moment, would the Alphas lend themselves to an infinite baffle ceiling mount, forgoing the enclosures? Thanks, Duncan
