Wayne, (or anyone)

If I did the math right it looks like the box volume of the 2 Pi Tower is right around 4.5 cu ft. When I look at the cabinet recommendation .pdf's from the Emininence site they show some examples with around 1.8 ft as one of the options. I havent modeled this driver, but I was wondering what your advantage your cabinet dimensions have over the smaller box recommendation. Is the response smoother, bass deeper, etc? or what is the main advantage?

This all started when I considered placing the tweeter in another enclosure to physically align it with the driver and needed to calculate the box size. I don't have an issue with using the larger box, I just wondered what it does better.

Thanks,
crazychile

Illuminati (33rd Degree)

You'll get deeper bass extension from the tower, flat down to 35Hz.
