Anyone every try the Vifa XT25TG30-04 in a One or Two Pi in place of the standard DX25TG-05? Would the same Pi Xo work for both? Just finished the Two Pi cabs and thinking of doing something a little different......Thanks, Colin

It's a good tweeter, but voltage sensitivity is a little too low to match with the Alpha 10. You could pad the midwoofer, but I don't think I would do that. What about one of the high sensivity ribbon tweeters? Some of them are very expensive, but some are under $100, and a few under $50. Here are two that have the right voltage sensitivity to work. Might need a smidge of padding on the Aurum Cantus, maybe 1dB or 2dB.

Wayne, I'm really liking the Alpha 10, and I think I will try it with the Dayton Planar. Do I need to put a resistor across the tweeter like there is on the Vifa?

I'm not sure, but I doubt it. The impedance of ribbon tweeters is usually pretty resistive and doesn't need extra damping or impedance compensation. You may need to pad the tweeter though. If so, I think probably a standard L-Pad configuration is appropriate.
The main difference between the two ribbons, besides specs, is the first being (the membrane) of pure aluminum and the second a composite, more fragile in the long run, some people say. I never tested them.
