The PVC plastic used to make shower pans makes a great gasket material. Cardboard works pretty well too.

It's easy to make gaskets. Just draw an outline of the part with a pen, and also make a mark where mounting holes are.

Next, cut the gasket out and make holes for screws with a hole punch.

You can make gaskets for drivers, horns, crossover PCB's, Zobel resistors, access panels, whatever you need. It is very easy to do.

Great idea Wayne!! One thing I messed up on mounting my drivers for the Two Pi's was that the screw heads for mounting were just a hair too big and mussed up the "gasket" on the front of the woofer driver because I wasn't paying attention. I ended up having to peel a layer off because they looked so bad. Now they just look bad instead of completely atrocious. Time to make some grills to cover them up!

I know whatcha mean. Best to use #6 screws to hold those drivers to the baffle. I sometimes put a dab of white glue on front gaskets that have gotten beaten up. Put it in between layers if they separate and press them back together.
