For the mellow moods, how's about a list of your vocal fav's? I'm thinking of performers like Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole.

Try Johnny Hartman, real mellow but tasteful and nice arrangements. Classic Records just released remastered version of Frank's "September Of My Years", still one of the best in my humble opinion. Julie London Live, she can show them how to do it. Then after you are in that snooze mode slap "Enter Sandman" on, dust off the woofers.

You could try out Elvis Costello with Burt Bacharach, "Painted From Memory". But i know not everybody likes Costello's voice - personally, I'm a long time fan.

Do you know if he's ever done any recordings with Diana Krall? Seems like those two are an item, maybe they've done some musical arrangements together too.

I don't know if he did any actual recordings with her. But he did contribute quite a lot (in terms of material) to her latest CD, which came out a month or so ago. I do think they've performed together.

Do you know if they ever got married? Seems like they were engaged, but I don't recall hearing they tied the knot.

I was wondering about that. I read about some things about them on her website, but never ran across anything that said they were married. So I wondered if they ever did and were keeping things private or if I just missed their announcement.
