Is there a simple way to attenuate the tweeter output on the Pi 8 speakers? I'm new to all of this, but I had the same problem in this room with a pair of Magnepans, and using the tweeter resistors on the back of the Maggies helped considerably. Is there an equivalent procedure on the Pi 8 tweeters, perhaps even using the same resistors that I used on the Maggies?

The eight π crossover has tweeter attenuation built in.

Thanks for the quick reply. Is there a way to increase the built-in attenuation?

Yes, you can change the values of R1 and R2. However, you probably shouldn't need to do this unless the speaker is used in free space, which will make it sound thin even with increased tweeter attenuation. The eight π loudspeaker should be floor-standing, against a wall or backed into a corner.
