Anybody know what's up with Danny Elfman these days? He used to be on practically every soundtrack - Seems it was required of all new movies in the late 80's and early 90's. I'm not complaining 'cause I think he's teriffic.
I guess the "newness" wore off and I don't hear his soundtracks as often. I'll bet he's still first pick on many of the action films though - He was perfect for movies like Batman. But the last news I've heard was from about a year ago.
It's amazing how many hits Oingo Boingo did too. Dead Mans Party from Back to School is still one of my favorites. Weird Science sticks in my mind too.
