One last question for now - the Alpha 10 .pid file that ships with the pi align software doesn't match the data from the Alpha 10 .pdf from the mfg.

Should I use the .pid that ships or modify it according to the cut sheet?

The PID file in the PiAlign distribution was made many years ago. Eminence has made several design changes since then, so the specs aren't the same. Eminence has maintained compatibility between units, insofar that the overall response of an updated driver is similar to that of an earlier model in the same cabinet design. The specs may change somewhat, but they maintain compatibility so that new units can be swapped with earlier models.

Building to the new dimensions from the pialign software using the new cut sheet or keeping the box dimensions sized for the original driver?

The current driver works very well with the cabinets shown in both sets of plans, the original bookshelf-sized speaker and the tower model.
