Wayne, I've mentioned that I'm considering adding the 7 Pi midhorn to my Theater 4's, and talked about moving the high-frequency horn to the top of the stack. Is moving the high-frequency horn necessary?

Would it work ok to place the midhorn on top of the 4 Pi cabinet and leave the high-frequency horn mounted in the bass cabinet (between the woofer and the midhorn)?

You can leave the tweeter in place in your four π cabinet when adding the seven π midhorn. Just make the mouth flush with the baffle and use the seven π crossover. Put the speaker in the corner and it will sound the same. If that's not possible, near the corner or at least back against a wall is the next best thing.
