I have two JBL 2450H 8-ohm drivers, one is supposed to be new and one used. With an ohm meter the new one reads out at 7.4 and the used one reads out at 3.9 I opened up both drivers and the diaphragms look identical, with no markings that I can see. Does this mean I have a 16 ohm Diaphragm in the driver that reads out at 7.4? Confused an uncertain!

Looks like you have a 2450H and a 2450J. The 2450H is an 8 ohm driver with DC resistance of 4.3Ω. The 2450J is a 16 ohm driver with DC resistance of 8.5Ω.
Thank you Wayne,I bought this 2450 H on ebay and it was listed as new. It was in the original box and was taken out only for the picture. Hmm! yeah right! When I received it I just hooked it up to the wires fron my 2426h's to test it and it worked fine. Did not even think of testing it with an ohm meter. So it has a 16 ohm diaphragm in a 2450H body. So much for being new, only on Ebay one can meet the best of people. Thank's Wayne for the info, Ken
