I've always wanted to build some PI speakers but my 13x22 listening room doesn't really have any usable corners - windows, doors, etc. in the way. (The studio series looks great, but I have some little Klipsch KG2s and a nice set of original Heresys. So I'm stocked up on good little speakers.) Lately I've thought about some Cornwalls or PI 3 or 4s...
But the idea of a horn-loaded woofer just won't go away...
So, are the 8s suitable for placement against a wall?
If so, Wayne, if you would send along some plans, that would be very cool.
I would using my homebrew parallel feed SE 6B4 Amps. Working on a 300B version... Also built a pretty good PP 6B4 amp based on the ST70 transformer set.
Thanks in advance for any comments/input.
