I've been fooling with Winisd to build a 2226J and 2123J woofer and mid with the Vifa 25 on top. Winisd and your 4 Pi Pro are close in size, about 3.6 cu ft for the 2226 tuned to 40Hz. But in the referenced post you have the 2226 in a 2.5 cu ft box.
First, which box size is better? 2.5 cu ft shows a head and shoulder between 60 and 90 Hz. 3.9 cu ft is smoooth.
Second, where would you cross to the Vifa?
Third, what about the 6dB lower efficiency of the Vifa? Does it matter?

Sounds like that might all combine to make a pretty good system. I think I'd go with a very simple system having no crossover on the midrange, or maybe just a coil to rolloff the breakup modes. The woofer will need a coil for the same reason. Both woofer and mid will be operating at a low enough frequency that spacing between them won't be critical. Use a first-order on the tweeter and have it mounted on the same baffle as the mid. That will probably sound very nice. Give it a try and see how it sounds.
As for cabinet size, the PiAligned cabinet is slightly overdamped. Works great in most rooms, especially with boundary reinforcement. A B4 alignment works well outdoors, but can be a little boomy indoors.
