I have some Cerwin Vega VS-120 cabinet speakers (Bass Reflex). Though I now these are Mid-fi speakers and I would love to replace, The box just booms out the bass. My favorite Preamp has no tone controls as a result of coarse, I can't attenuate lower frequencies.

Do I use 1 x 2 inch boards or should I use a baffle of sorts where there would be more contact with the respective sides?

I know I can enjoy a high level of knowledge from members on this board.

Thanks again,
Brad

Big living room. . . Ok. Mine? hummmmm.

Well looking over the info, I noticed your clear instructions as it relates to bracing. . . I'm good.
