I have a few more questions to ask about Pi speakers.

Most use the eminence PSD 2002 tweeter an this is one of the least expensive tweeters of this type on the market. I assume that this tweeter is a giant and outperforms more expensive tweeters? Some of these high compression tweeters sell for several hundred dollars each.

What is the difference between the various levels of woofers? Is it strictly power handling? Low frequency extension or quality of bass?

Kind Regards,

Doug Woodliffe

The 2002 is the all arounder driver. It doesn't have the mid-range clarity of the JBL 2426, the air and extension of the Altec 902 or the detail of the BMS. But it also has none of their faults.

The only others I know of that do better at all things treble are the Altec Great Plains 399 and the JBL 2446 at nearly 10 times the price.
