I'm going to put together a 2 channel system using a SET 300B amp. I'm currently using Adire HE.10's that are going to stay in the home theater.

What Pi speakers are others using with the 300B and also what preamp are you using.

Thanks,
Lee

I'm amazed at the list compiling in my head. Let's see, specifically with 300B I've used Theatre 4 Pi, Studio 2 Pi with Piezo, Vifa DX-25 and Morel tweeters, Studio 2 Pi Tower, and Theatre 4 Pro.
Money talks, the Theatre 4 Pro is best followed by the Studio 2 tower.
If you have the corners there's no doubt the 7 Pi configs are best.
But in the end, you'll have to judge.

Bill,

I was leaning towards the Theater 4, the Pro 4 has a smaller cabinet which I like, But is it that($$) much better than the Theater 4?

would you rate the Studio 2 Towers over the Theater 4?

Thanks,

Lee

I'd say let your budget be your guide- the Tower 2's are great, and are one of the best bargains out there in speakers. As you move up, you'll get a fuller sound and more definition. I have the Stage 4's, played with 2A3 tubes (less power than 300B), and they sound great. Smaller cabs than Theater series, if that's a factor. With the 300B's, you can go with any of these, or the Pro series w/ JBL's. There are a lot of posts about each in the archives. Good luck!

Wayne,

Does the port come with the kit or is it made from wood?

Thanks,

Lee

It's rectangle shaped and made from wood in that model.
