How do you peel and apply the Pi sticker? The semi transparent front paper and the solid back paper came apart easily, but the black logo is sticking tenaciously to the sticky front paper. This definitely is the hardest part of building the enclosures:)
I'm gonna see if the local engraver can do a couple of copper ones for my Towers when I finally get them finished someday.
Otherwise, I haven't tried my sticky ones yet. Maybe Wayne sells some special audio goo that will not only help with the sticker application, but also damp the cabinet better than magic rocks.

Peel the sticker off the smooth (glossy) paper backing and attach it to the cabinet. Some of the decals come with a second waxed paper, which is used to assist application of large decals or those with a lot of detail. It helps keep parts of the decal from moving in relation to one another while it is being attached. But on these small decals, it really isn't necessary. I think that second assist paper is what's confusing you. Just put the decal on the box, press it on and peel off the waxed paper - It'll come right off and leave the decal in place.
Thanks, Wayne. The decals are now on the speakers, so I suppose that officially makes them Pi speakers. I had to peel them off the wax paper - looks like they were subjected to UPS' Oklahoma/Texas summer heat treatment.
I like Shane's idea for copper badges. Luther (Wardsweb) designed the gold tinted badges that Bottlehead offers. Now that he has designed and built his own CNC machine for cutting speaker panels we need to convince him to build some Pi speakers, and I'm sure he'll design a gold Pi badge.

I had some plates made like that, and also had a jeweler make a mold for silver or pewter emblems. The risers served as mounting posts too; They're very nice. I was giving out pewter ones at the MAF in 2003. Might have to do that again.
