Hello everyone:

Newbie here...so bear with me.....I have a remote cabin off the grid and want to "stereoize". I run off 12V (with inverter) and have decided to work the reknowned T-Amp, right now with a set of wall mounted Mission M-70s, but I might bring up the Studio Series Two that I will be building shortly. I want to consider suspending these from the cathedral type ceiling and want to know what acoustic compromises that would bring. Are there other Pi speakers more suitable(future project)? If feasible, could I chain link them? Any thoughts.........?

Be very careful about suspending speakers.

has a good document from JBL.

I've seen some scary things in the field...

In addition to the mechanical aspects of rigging, there are also acoustic concerns. Speakers suspended in free space tend to lack bass since their radiating pattern is omnidirectional. If mounted on a wall, the pattern is forced into half-space and that tends to boost bass in comparison to free space. If placed in a corner, the radiating angle is made even smaller so the effect is more pronounced. For Studio two π speakers, I'd recommend putting then against a wall on stands for best performance. You could also fasten them to the wall instead of using stands, if desired. Something like this:
