I really like these things. Beefy, cheap, easy to build and no worries about what rare earth they're made of. Wonder how they'll sound? Building 3 pairs of 1/4" one end, RCA the other for the ART 311 electronic crossover. Halfway there:

First it was a solid state main amp, now it's: 2-way electronic crossover with 1/4" and XLR ins and outs. Gonna bi-amp with the 45 on top and the Classe on de bottom.

By the way, have you thought about just using a passive line level crossover (PLLXO)? Here's a couple good bit on it: http://www.silcom.com/~aludwig/Sysdes/Crossove_Design.htm#Bi_ampingAnd, http://www.t-linespeakers.org/tech/filters/passiveHLxo.html In my mind, whatever keeps op amps out is a good thing. Of course, many will disagree, so YMMV.
