We're hoping to have the tweeters ready for production in the next couple of months but no drawing or assembly plans are available. They will only be available as finished ready-to-use tweeter horns.

Back in mid November 2005 you emailed out wood hf plans to several forum participants who requested them.

I am concerned about freight costs to Australia for built up items.

As I said before, I don't know if I would buy a tweeter horn from you or if I would build one and learn from it. It's a difficult win-win decision. Wood horns that I've sold in the past were made by Bill Martinelli. They're a pretty good horn, but the sides are curved and the top and bottom are straight. The expansion is fine but I don't like that profile. The new horns have straight side walls and the top and bottom flares are curved to create the area expansion and to open much wider and reduce diffraction.

Hi,
After paying attention (and learning from it) to some of the work done by Wayne (and others) I found a very interesting Patent (#4,469,921) from Kinoshita, 1984, with a "similar" horn design.
<<Sectoral horn with side walls linear and opening degree or angle of the horn adjusted by the upper and lower curved walls>>

The interest of this is that it explains how a type ""shelf"" frequency response of the horn becomes flat and directivity is improved in the necessary frequency band. With a two angle throat for different frequencies.

Is good for learning and also developing diy horns.
