Hi Wayne.

I want to upgrade my Pi7 crossover that started out with some cheap components.

I have looked at Jantzen copperfoil inductors.

14 Gauge 0.62mH 0.19ohm, or should I use the 0.56mH instead.
14 Gauge 1.00mH 0.24ohm

Do you think they will have a low enough resistance, or should I go with the 12 Gauge versions.

What about the 5mH inductor for the bass, what specs. should I look for there ?

I thought about the Janzten caps too, they are not that expensive, but I have no idea how they sound.

I use those Jantzen coils too, and like them a lot. The ones you've spec'ed are just fine. As for the large coil, I suggest an Erse Super Q.

Should I go for the .56 or .62 mH ?

The .56 mH might give a too high crossover point right ?

Go with the 0.62mH, but either will work just fine. The difference is actually pretty tiny.
