Would a pair of them be worth while, or do I need the block of four outdoors?

If a person finds they need more than __ bass reflex boxes to get it done, they might want to switch.

How big a crowd, or how big a space (indoors and out) is an indicator for 12 Pi's?

Assuming excellent subjective bass quality from the horn loading, one might want them on that basis alone. How small of a gig/room/yard would you say was workable for a pair of these?

How much do they weigh? (if you haven't weighed then a good guess [from 1 to 10]on the damned heavy index will suffice)

We were DJ pros years ago, and I know what it's like to have more gig than you have system (and vice-versa). I have a good Idea about these things, but I have no bass horn experience. They are big and heavy, but when truly needed they would be a snap to set up compared to piles of bass reflex. I don't know if I will really "need" them. We will start with some reflex 18's, 'cause you always need them for smaller setups. I guess it will be obvious if and when I need to step it up, but I would enjoy your thoughts on the matter.
