I think one of the biggest improvements came when adding the π midhorn in the seven π loudspeaker. Your speakers were originally made during a period when I was experimenting with making the π cornerhorn as a two-way design. It was an interesting experiment that worked pretty well with some drivers. But it's nothing like the versions with the π midhorn. I'd put the current version up against any system out there, it's that good.

My kids are all happy with the version I have now.
Especially the kid with the bleeding ears.

Which PHL midrange are you using? Is it setup as a direct radiator or in a horn like Wayne's 10" Delta?
